Simple and Easy Chicken Rub Recipe

One of the ways that professional chefs and big time pit masters make their recipes special is to create their own unique rubs and sauces. And from time to time I will make a special sauce or rub for the food that I make at Holly at Home TV. For this reason, I present to you a basic chicken rub recipe I use. This rub is a dry rub, meaning that you don’t have to spend time marinating it and it won’t get your hands all gooey. The way it works is that when you go to cook your chicken, you apply this dry rub to your your chicken and then cook it. It’s that simple!

Can’t I Just Buy Pre-Made Chicken Rub?

Yes! You absolutely can. There is nothing wrong with going out and buying pre-made rubs for your meats at home. In fact, when I’m in a time crunch, this is exactly what I’ll do. But, when I have time and I want to make my dinner idea special. I will go ahead and make my own rub or sauce, just like this chicken rub recipe I’m giving you. It gives it that extra special, restaurant in your home feel. And the great thing is that it’s homemade! Your family will be amazed and you’ll sit back with satisfaction knowing that the extra care you put into dinner tonight was well worth it!
