So the other day my son decided to get up early and make this easy homemade biscuits with sausage gravy recipe. It is so easy, that an 11 year old can do it! And boy, did it taste amazing! This is definitely a recipe that you can make for your family at home. It takes about 10 minutes of preparation time and about 20 minutes to cook. And once it’s done you have a healthy, hearty breakfast that your family will enjoy!

This is a great easy breakfast recipe that will put your family on the road to success for the day. Since you are not making all of the ingredients from scratch. Being able to pop the jumbo buttermilk biscuits out of the can and pop them in the oven will save you time. And the precooked sausage crumbles make it easy to get the gravy going at the same time that the biscuits are cooking. Instructions
  1. Bake biscuits according to the directions on the package
  2. Start by cooking the sausage crumbles on medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes. Occasionally stir the sausage so that it doesn't burn.
  3. After 5 or 6 minutes add the 1/4 cup of flour and slowly stir in the 2 1/2 cups of milk. Keep stirring until it has a thick gravy consistency and starts to boil
  4. After it starts to boil, take the heat down to medium-low and let it simmer for 2 minutes while stirring constantly. Now's the time to add your salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Remove gravy from stove top and add to finished biscuits.
  6. Enjoy!
